Useful Exam Information

The organisers of the IChO 2023 will provide calculators for both the experimental and the theoretical exams. The model of the provided calculators is:

Casio FX-991ES PLUS 2nd Edition

Contestants will be given the opportunity of getting acquainted with the calculators before the examinations.

Contestants are NOT allowed to use their own calculators in the examinations.

During the practical exam, appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment must be worn throughout the work in laboratories.

The organisers of the IChO 2023 will provide all students with laboratory coats and safety goggles.

Please be aware that wearing contact lenses in the laboratory is forbidden and that glasses do not count as safety goggles. Your students’ needs will be asked for at registration.
